#12 Why measuring your social impact matters as a social entrepreneur

See this content in the original post

When I started as a social entrepreneur I used to think measuring your social impact was something that could be done later on, at the end of the year or programme we were delivering. But then I realised not having our social impact data meant we couldn't communicate the difference we made to our stakeholders and customers. In this episode I share why it's essential to measure your social impact as a social entrepreneur, and how it helps build trust with your customers and attract them in the first place.

I also realised it's quite difficult to "go back" and evaluate, review and collect data in retrospect and much easier to build impact measurement in to your operations as you go.

Measuring your social impact should be part of your normal operations; it doesn't have to be overly complex and it isn't a nice to have - it is essential.

Your social impact is often closely linked to WHY you exist as a business, so if you're not able to demonstrate the change your creating people will wonder what you're doing and why you're doing it.

In this episode I share why measuring your impact matters and key things for you to think about no matter where in your journey you are.
