As social entrepreneurs we know one of the best ways to increase our sales is to make sure more people know about who we are and what we do. PR is a great tool for this. Whether it's getting your story on the radio, in newspapers, online publications or being invited to be a guest on a podcast, I'm often asked: How do I get my story in the media?

So I'm really pleased to have Elma Glasgow, a PR expert working with ethical and wellbeing brands, to join the podcast this week and sharing all her insights from her 25 year career.

Elma started her career in PR after her News Journalism degree, she's worked with global entertainment brands such as Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, and Sony Music, as well as with independent film and record companies. Over the years she's also worked for an array of organisations, including Comic Relief and the British Red Cross, and delivered not-for-profit, business, political, and consumer campaigns.

After severe burnout in 2017 she created a business based on her own values, that would allow her to live a more balanced life. She now helps businesses and experts in the ethical space raise their profile, by giving them a voice and driving positive change by getting into the press.
