#53 Putting the profit back in to "non-profit" with Nickala Torkington
This episode is of a recorded session I ran with Nickala Torkington, as part of Flourish Together's week long series of sessions for International Women's Day this year (2021).
Nickala invited to me talk about this topic "putting the profit back in to non-profit" after a post I shared on Facebook a few months back and subsequent conversations we had from it.
If you've been listening to my podcast for a while you will know how important I believe it is we re-evaluate and define what non-profit really means as social enterprises. And in this episode, I explain it all, as well as discuss lots of other issues and questions that have arisen as a result of covid-19 over the past 12 months, for many social enterprises.
This is a different type of episode and brings insights not only from myself and Nickala but also some of the social entrepreneurs who attended the event and contributed their stories and experiences too.
