Accountants for Social Enterprises

There are two accountants that I’ve seen recommended in lots of groups and forums for social enterprises and social entrepreneurs (in the UK), they are:

  1. Harris Accountancy, and

  2. Flourish Social Enterprise CIC

I haven’t used either of these firms for my own purposes, I have an accountant who is local to me as I find it useful to be able to speak face-to-face, so I can learn about my businesses accounts, but I know lots of social enterprises want and need a specialist who understands the nuances of social entrepreneurship, so these two have come recommended to me.

Please note, I have not worked with either of these organisations so am not personally endorsing them, you will need to see which Accountant / Accountancy firm suits you and your organisations needs best.
