#32 Getting started with social media with Kaeleigh Macdonald
Kaeleigh started as an entrepreneur, after starting her Unpregnant Chicken blog, as an outlet for her feelings of dealing with infertility.
She then transitioned into the social media management and marketing sphere helping fertility brands reach their target customers in a way that was supportive to the circumstances that brought them there.
Now, after 5 years of working in the fertility sphere, she pivoted again to work specifically with socially responsible companies.
In this episode we discuss:
How Kaeleigh got started from a place of passion
Why she decided to pivot to working with socially responsible business owners in 2020
The importance of being authentic and aligned to your values
What an “enthusiastic buyer” is and how to attract and engage with them on social media
Authenticity and boundaries…getting the balance right
Top tips for getting started on social media (Kaeleigh assures me there’s lots of business owners who are only just starting on social media)
Kaeleigh shares some great advice on how to convert followers in to buyers
How to show up as the expert in your field, even if you're just starting out (…and getting over imposter syndrome)
