What's your wildly unique way?
I am loving the sunshine over in this part of North Wales although not so much the heat in my conservatory in the afternoons. Summer is here and I am ready for it. (Shorts, t-shirts and sandals on ready for days swimming and paddle-boarding with my husband and kids on the lake).
I don't know if you've visited my website recently but I've been making a few changes to my copy, offers and how people navigate through it (more edits coming soon to, so do go take a look👀).
And the thing I'm super proud of is the copy at the top of the homepage ("Achieve your vision for social change in your wildly unique way!") because it feels fully aligned to who I am and who I'm excited to support and work with right now.
The person who wants a coach who's like a true partner in business supporting you to achieve your vision - not their own, or the one they've copied from elsewhere but the one that actually moves the needle for you and the people you want to make a difference to.
The one thing I know makes all the difference leading a business is trusting your wildly unique way of doing things.
And by that I mean, things like:
Trusting the fact you know you want to work 4 days or less a week so you have more space and freedom to walk in the woods, visit the beach, paint with your kids BUT not sacrifice your income as a result
Simplify to scale, knowing trying to do all the things is not possible for one person definitely doesn't create meaningful impact
Inspiring change within others through your unique skillset, experience, expertise and wisdom and in ways that uplifts and energises you (not drains and depletes you)
Knowing that more revenue means more impact in areas that you care about (not personal excessive wealth for you and your family, although you are going to get paid well for the work that you do [because it matters!])
It's not the obvious approach, and it's certainly not the easiest... especially, if you're not used to connecting to your intuition, following your gut, trusting your ideas or really going for what you desire (this can and does take work).
BUT it does make things a whole lot simpler than trying to fit within somebody else's box (or way of working).
And I love it too because it makes every client I work with fascinating, exciting and challenging for me. Because I'm so not here to just rinse and repeat the same old information to everyone. I want to engage in your vision and help enable that for you.
