#19 Three ways to generate income from corporates as social enterprise

When I started my first social enterprise, Solutions for the Planet, with my best friend Jen Baughan, we wanted to create a business that had a sustainable trading income that wasn't reliant on grant funding or corporate sponsorship.

We had an amazing programme inspiring the next generation of thought-leaders, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs which there was demand for from schools but we wanted corporates and their employees involved too.

We had to figure out what they wanted so we could position it in a way that was attractive to them. And that's exactly what we did. We developed an offer that we have consistently sold for £12k/year to different corporate partners, since 2014.

Since then I've realised (and developed) three models for generating income from corporates as a social entrepreneur, which all use my tried and tested model for selling to corporates. I share it all in this episode to help you think through how you could package what you do to corporates.

Don't worry it's a quick simple training, and if you have any questions you can send me a message on Facebook or Instagram and I'll happily get back to you.
